AMD confusion (and nonchalant intel talk)

hey hey hey! victoria (my computer) was completely assembled by me and it has been living with me for a year now, still as pretty as always. . .

Well, his fail post a week ago had more to do with the fact that he saw an AM3 mobo that said "Supported CPU: Phenom II X4 / Phenom II X3" and went ahead and picked out an AM2+ Phenom II X4 without checking whether the sockets matched... but yeah.

ok i think you missed it when i said the mobo was amd and the processor was amd. . .

yes that was indeed the problem. . .my bad as i said. . .i was unaware of those things (since till then i had never assembled AMD based pc´s)
