Utorrent Connection Issues
kureshii:
Sounds like you need to get port forwarding configured, or get the program unblocked on the firewall. If you see a red exclamation mark in the bottom middle of the uTorrent window, something's wrong.
If you're sure firewalling is disabled for the program and port forwarding is already done, then maybe it's your ISP...
Kemono:
I started having a similar problem a few months ago with my torrent speeds deciding to be slow as hell and uTorrent eating up all of the bandwidth on my network for 6kB/s up and similar down. uTorrent 2 (I had been using 1.8.x for awhile before that) was working fine for awhile then it hit a wall, so I figure it must have come with an update. I'm using a modified nVidia .inf so that I can use up to date drivers on my old GeForce 7400Go (ie laptop) but I'm not seeing the nVidia Network Access Manager in my installed program list nor in my registry. I just switched back to BitTornado (good old reliable client) today since I was fed up and it works just fine.
uTorrent (and BitTornado) give me the green light and I've used their checkers to make sure that my ports are forwarded correctly so that isn't the problem.
Any ideas?
Lupin:
uTorrent 2.0 throttles down sending its packets if it senses heavy traffic in your network.
It may not be good for your downloads but this helps other users in the network.
manhuntzor:
Been having the exact same problem. I cant connect to any peers/seeds. uTorrent is correctly forwarded in the router, and any torrents from other sites work perfectly, only BakaBT torrents stopped working when I updated from 1.8.5 to 2.0.1
Tried 2.1 (or is it 2.2?) alpha aswell, and same problem.
Don't have nVidia Connectivity Manager listed on programs installed either.
Southrop:
2.0.1 is not on the whitelist. 2.0 is, however.
