English Scanlation: Samurai Deeper Kyo Manga
killazys:
Oh well. I guess it's #lurk for me then. Thanks for the responses :D

newy, I think your misinterpreting something :-\...
"Official manga is allowed but not doujin" <= that is what you must have thought of? However that's got nothing to do with the issue at hand.
Scanlation = translated (often cleaned as well) japanese manga (raw from magazine/tankoubon)
Scan = Scanned R1 published manga (publishers:TokyoPop/Viz etc)
If only manga published in R1 was allowed, the list would be very short here on BakaBT...
Also, saying #lurk isn't allowed would be like saying TT isn't allowed for anime, because in a similar way they're a hub for most manga releases (or at least they used to be)... (have you ever seen single bots with close to 20.000 packs of manga? Try a visit to #lurk@irchighway...)
Zalis116:
I took newy's "it's being scanlated" statement to mean "scanlations are still in progress, therefore the complete manga can't be uploaded." Though I would think there's enough out there to upload a few arcs, à la Bleach, Naruto, Berserk, Gantz, etc.

Not quite the same. TT doesn't actually host anything, and you usually get official files with original filenames when downloading through it, unlike #lurk.

I'd wish there was a manga site where you could see which arcs each manga contained + chapter info. In most cases, that's the kind of problem I have with uploading big mangas. Wikia sometimes contains info, Manga-Updates doesn't at all. Wikipidia, nope. =/
EDIT: Seriously, if anyone knows of any trustworthy sites that contains such info feel free to call, text, e-mail or PM me.
newy:
The problem with #lurk is that they alter the filenames and that's why I said that these hosted files are for the private use and not for BBT because BBT likes to have original filenames. BUT after rereading the paragraph on uploading manga I misinterpreted not recommended as not allowed, though it is probably supposed to mean that if there are no clues where to find the original filenames #lurk's naming is to be accepted.
