Thanks for the heads up. I haven't touched my PS3 in a bit because of Global Agenda :P. Time to go grab the demo.

I have mixed feelings from the demo. I enjoyed the experience as a whole, but got bored watching the scenes over and over (because of my curious nature i tried to find all the diffrent outcomes for the demo). Also the slow walking speed drives me a bit nuts =/

I managed to get whats her name to cry when answering my questions, handed her a tissue and then tried to see what the last interaction was. big mistake; the comforting hand on shoulder earned me a "GTFO" from her. tried to repeat that one but couldn't find the right questions to put her in that state again so far =P

#1 Go into the room
#2 Talk (duh)
#3 Compassion
#4 wait like 2-3 seconds
#5 Compassion/ Johnny (Forget which order)
#6 She will cry when she talks about Johnny
#7 Either wait for her to cry, or wait for her to start smoking and continue with the compassion route
#8 She should start crying sooner or later.

You need to do a slow chat compassion wise. Don't keep jamming buttons as soon as the commands appear. Sometimes she'll even go, "Didn't you have something to ask?" etc.
Did you try letting the second guy sit in the room for a while and finish the fight scene? She'll have bruises.

thats interesting; i made her cry through the 'trick her' route. don't remember what questions i asked or what order i did it in though. I always thought compassion was a 'GTFO' dead end.

Actually, you might be correct. Sometimes, you will only get 2 commands. Trick or compassion. That one usually you have to use compassion to get to or whatnot. I believe it's around that area that's the turning point. However, I recall getting to the crying thing about three times now. Each time has been different. Once was just crying, and once was with her smoking and crying and once, she wasn't even but just covering her face. I got GTFO'd twice, and the last one, I wandered around looking for more triggers but found none except to leave the card. (I haven't tried leaving without putting down a card to see if she answers the door when the other guy comes)

He looks like Mulder. I didn't like his voice, though. ;p

Hrm, I don't remember getting the chick to cry. I was more entertained beating chrome dome over and over again xD.
Yeah, the augmented reality the FBI agent had was pretty awesome. I felt like I was playing Batman Arkham Asylum :P. His voice is pretty annoying but I think it fits well with his appearance as a pale backseat guy, I don't think his voice-acting was bad though.

Can't wait to get this game when it comes out! I usually don't buy games without a multiplayer aspect but I really like the interactive movie kinda format.

has anyone gotten info outa the chick at all? I see people mentioning making her cry. I got that several times. touching her pisses her off. Ive got her to break down and given her a tissue but get nothing after that.

No one mentinoed this yet:

I dont know what the trigger was but one combo let me actualy pick up the picture on the counter and ask if that was her son which made her really lose it. That was the first time i then gave tissue/shoulder. I never got the option to pick up the picture after that.

I never try compassion, always trick, persuade.

Ive also got a perfect ass whoopin on the guy that comes.

Is there any combo to actually get info?

Isn't the boy's picture on the dresser at the far end?  I remember getting info, you should get it close to when she starts talking about Johnny. Something she says soon after she goes, "This is what I told the police" and "Please think anything at all". Then she'll describe the day he disappeared in deep detail. But since you didn't get the original "report" pretty much all of this is "new" to you but your char still talks as if he knows most of it.
