Spline36Resize(848,480).Spline36Resize(1280,720) on THORA's 720p rips tells me that the series is barely worth 720p, let alone 1080p.

Its 1080p, and since there's no competition, so nobody should be stopping anybody from offering this.

I'm assuming it's probably no different from other JC Staff 1080p rips. AKA, it probably is an upscale. But then again, so was White Album.

Well, it's kind of an upscale, but it came as one. Yes, the BR is 1080p, but it's not a very good one. Still, there are some people who want 1080p even IF it looks just as good, or even worse then the 720p. Also, there are people who enjoy using sandbags as replacements for friends, so not all activities should be considered normal.
