One chapter would be more awesome. Someting like: The first pages show one after another finishing their training, bidding their farwell to their "coaches". The middle pages show either what has happened in the world in these two years or they show the situation around the Sunny and the last page shows how the crew is approaching the sunny from different direction. To be continued...

Ok, that would also be a two chapter reunion $:-\$

Tho how u are saying.. How they finished their training and say bye bye to their coaches.. Is the reason i think it might take a tiny bit more then 2 chapters.
As well.... Luffy and his crew has been underground for 2 years now.. The marine will probably think they are gone/dead? I don't know but we will see their reaction when the crew is back ofcourse..

And the anime is still quite a bit behind... makes me wonder... Will the anime have a break as well >_<
Anyhow!... How fast do you guys think Oda will bring back the crew together?
I myself dont think it will be long.. 2 chapters to a max of 5 chapters I think.. (Finding 5 chapters allready long tho).

The anime won't have breaks. It will stretch the few panels on Ace's joining of Whitebeard's crew into a full episode, overly stretch dramatic scenes like the ones with Oars Jr. into an almost comical repeat of a hat, and more. Oh wait.
There might or might not be filler involved as well.

The crew might join back in a rushed 2 chapters, or each crew member might get a summary of their training up to them seeing the SA and each chapter ending there. Next chapter they meet at a coated Sunny. I'm actually hoping for this, otherwise we'll get a crapton of flashbacks all the time for a while.

also what's a good site to read the manga? there's too much variation in the translations

Yes we spoke about it few pages ago.
I think here is a high chance she will join the crew.
As I don't think Hancock will join the crew as she is to powerfull.

I just don't see enough basis for her doing that.

Some people mentioned her wanting revenge for Moria; how is she going to do that? She's weak as hell. Most of Thriller Bark's enemies were with a few exceptions.

i think its either gonna be ghost girl or jinbei that joins the crew. I personally would lean more towards jinbei since hes strong but not overpowered he isnt a devil fruit user and is a fishman they dont have a fishman in the crew yet. Plus jinbei has the added usefulness of being awesome in the water to assist the sunny in shifty situationsand has the dedication ro protect luffy because of his promise to ace and what such.

Jimbei seems to be the consensus we kind of reached a few pages back(provided the new crew member won't be someone that hasn't been introduced yet).

Anyway... I don't see Jinbei as having the same... I don't know what to call it. Spirit? All the other crewmembers get fired up when they fight and they fight to the bitter end. Jinbei may have that same resolve but I don't think he has the same spirit if you will. When the others fight I find myself getting energized from watching it. Jinbei doesn't have the same thing to me and he doesn't seem like the person that ever will. Same with Perona.

Perhaps its the feeling of being underdogs. For example every time they encounter an enemy the crew are usually the underdogs of the fight. Jinbei doesn't seem like an underdog to me and Perona is just doesn't have the guts to fight like that. I mean even Nami can bust some sick moves when she tries.

If they can bring out the underdog in either of them then I wouldn't mind either of them joining.

Franky is actually the proof of quite the contrary to your suggestion Takeshi. When the crew reached Water 7, they met Franky right away, but he didn't join the crew until after the Enies Lobby arc.

The "current" arc started at Sabaody Archipelago, and went on the the crew splitting, and then Impel Down and Marineford/Marinford. Luffy himself met tons of characters in that time. Notably Rayleigh, Boa Hancock, Jimbei, that Amazon girl whose name escapes me at the moment, Hachi, and a ton of Whitebeard Pirates. If a character has to join the crew by the end of the arc(the departure from Sabaody), it'll have to be someone among them, otherwise the new crew member will be met in a different arc and this arc will see no new crew members(kind of like Skypiea, with much more things happening).

i dunno seems like jinbei was on the weaker side of the shichibukai and with remarks in the manga referencing his position as a like a bridge builder for people and fish people.
And usopp nami and robin all 3 of them for quite some time havent been the most gungho in fights its pretty much just luffy sanji and zoro and now franky that really just want to fuck shit up.

Although his [ersonality from what we know of it is a bit more serious then the rest of the crew. I dont know how he would react if he was in the crew and luffy got into LETS GO ON AN ADVENTURE mode

Jinbei has other priorities, namely protecting Fishmen Island now that WB is dead. It was stated that he was one of the strongest Shichibukai.

Perhaps the first main arc back will be about Fishman Island and Luffy claiming he will protect it now since Whitebeard is gone? Doesn't seem very Luffy thing to do to me but possibility.

Luffy is training for Haki controll..
After 2 years.. he might not be able to mater it uflly (Since it takes a LOONG time).
She will join the crew to be a personal trainer for Luffy to get his haki under controll....

Seems a valid reason.. Altho.. Would Hancock allow her =P

Where was it stated that Jinbei was one of the strongest? I rmb Sengoku saying something bout him being strong but not one of the strongest. It was stated that Arong ( w/e his name is ) is as strong as Jinbei and if thats true, thats not really strong at all
