Need a Laptop

Alright so like the topic says i need a laptop.

However i want a 17"+ screen
and less then 575$

basically i want a mobile anime/movie watching machine. I can always plug it in so 2 hours of battery is not an issue. The price however im quite firm on i cant spend more then that.

I could be totally wrong, but I'd expect any 17" laptop in that price range to have a shit screen resolution. Last I looked they typically ran at about 1280x800, which is atrocious for that size of screen. You'd probably have better luck with a 15" model of some sort.

I don't consider that which is not a Mac bad. I consider that which has bad specs bad, and to me, even 1440x900 is low for a 17" screen. All the 17" laptops that I've handled within the past 5 years or so had either 1680x1050 (perfect IMO) or 1900x1200 (a little overkill), so perhaps my opinion is biased.
