I'm thinking about getting metal legs... It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.
If it advances as far as Ghost in the Shell had then maybe but not just yet for me.

If so, right leg because it can be enhanced.
But right now?... left....leg.. If I had to. -knocks on wood-

had my leg broken for about 1 month, it was hell on earth, so choosing left arm, maybe it would have been different if i had eve broken an arm :)

I don't know how good technology is recently for prosthetics but I read a few years back they had joins that they could hook up to your neural system so it would bend when you wanted it to.
It'd be cool if I could have a bionic leg replacement :D. Or at least a fake leg with a compartment to hold stuff. Maybe a refrigerated compartment for a beer :P.

I wouldn't want to lose either arm. Too difficult to replace dexterity wise. So it's either the left or right leg.

Me being ambidextrous have 2 options. Get rid of the power leg, or the skilled leg. Sorry, gotta go with skilled. I saved my arms due to dexterity. I need to retain a little bit of power.

Left leg it is.

I have far better balance on my left side of my body than right. More dominant on right side of body (so it gained the power and "experience")

However, I've taught myself to use left handed things before. At one point I learned to the degree where my left was superior at several tasks (second only to writing I believe and throwing since my left shoulder locks "like a girl") than the right. Unfortunately, hurt my arm and used right for a while. I haven't gone and practiced with my left so it's all out of practice. But yeah, it was funny, I was able to punch harder and more accurate with my left for a short period of time. Same as my skills with chopsticks and most sports related motor skills such as catching, guiding and weight shifting (except throwing).

I really should train up the left side again. I hear it's good for preventing really bad strokes and stuff. Which might be a good thing if I'm supposed to have a shorter lifespan than my parents. ;)

im naturally almost fully ambidextrous, so with little to no practice i can do most things comfortably with my left hand. Exception to that being things like writing which i can do but its fucking worse then my already poor handwriting. And throwing/hitting in baseball. Both of the baseball ones could be overcome with some practice its just the muscle memory and practice was always done with my right.

Cool, should do a little more practice so you can be fully ambi :D. What's weird is that I'm right handed but since I played violin a bunch my left hand types much more efficiently than my right hand does. That's probably another reason why I'd rather keep my left arm.

I can hit left or right and shoot left or right in baseball, gold and hockey. I usually just lack power on one side due to muscle memory, but somehow that power lacking side always has more accuracy. (And I don't think it's from the lesser power either).

Writing I agree is chicken scratch on the left hand. However, I've changed my writing style 2 times in post secondary, once in middle school and once in high school.

Middle school was pure crap, let's say that.
High school was a mixture of hand writing and printing
Post secondary was mainly printing with a tiny bit of hand writing left in (first time)
Second change in post secondary consisted on refining the choice of "font" for certain words. I do the full "a" and not the short hand version of it which doesn't have the part at the top.

That's probably why my left hand can't compare at all for writing. It's still using the font I used from elementary school.

And define "little to no practice". I spend maybe 30 mins to a several hours to figure out how to do the other side "properly". Proper in the sense that it's decent and acceptable and not just barely passable. I mean, it's still weak, but not so weak it's useless... even if it's technically dexterously passable.

Like I said, I wouldn't want to lose my arms.

None. I almost lost my right arm when I was once, but it could be saved and has recovered well, though it hurts when I write too much too fast.

If you plan on sitting at your computer all day then lose your leg, otherwise it's smarter to lose your arm even though that's just an opinion. I'd lose my right arm as I'm left handed..but typing now would be a pain in the ass...

Probably my right leg, leg prosthetics work much better than the upper body ones...so I could do the most basic things like walking or running.

Left arm for me, I'm not sitting on my computer all day, only nights, and I mostly play Heroes of Might and Magic III... and I use my left arm only for six things: when I'm fighting, when I'm playing sports, when I read, When I eat, when I scratch my head or back and opening the milkcan  :P other times I use it when paying my buyings when I'm shopping food or other things.

But it would be sad if I had to lose any of my limbs, but I rely need both of my legs  ;D balance will suffer though.

Simple my left leg. I have a bad left knee where it hurts to walk on everyday. So losing this leg would rid of me the pain

I've played that way too much in my life. :P
But finally got bored about it year-and-a-half back.

Still hang around on the forums though.

I would give up mah left leg (im right handed so i kick with my right). Plus it seems like it would be simpler to get a leg prosthetic versus an arm one, i dont need to grab things or really do anything with my legs, sure i wouldnt be an athlete but, it seems like the least inconvenient path to take

^ genius, that made my mind up for me, so I'll go with right leg.  My left leg is better at everything except kicking, but because I'm right handed I think it'd be easier to adjust to a fake leg on that side (easier to balance/catch yourself when falling with better coordinated hand)

I'd rather have bionics that go over my body parts instead of fully replacing them. Even if I lost my leg, I'd rather have something rebuilt inside, but the actual bionic going over top where the leg should be.

More like a super armor than weird Luke Skywalker typewriter.

I would lose my right arm since I'm left handed. Simple as that ^^
+No Legs = No Kicking = No Jogging = No Taekwon-do = no Many things.
Thanks Enzie!
