left leg for me since i need both my hands to be able to play games and besides i'll get a wheel chair by losing the leg

Could do without the left arm. After breaking it twice my brain learned to use it much less. You only need one arm to defend yourself but without a leg it becomes quite difficult. Rather lose a toe but thats not considered a limb...

Surprised so many would rather lose a leg. Crazy people

I can't play games optimally without both arms. So obviously need to lose a leg. I would prefer keeping the right leg I think. So losing left leg.

Might be possible to learn to play games with my feet, though game pads would make that a worthless idea. :/

Something as simple as reading a book becomes hard with just one hand...

playing games isn't too important. it is enough if I can surf the internet and watch anime. so why would everyone lose left leg?? then it is sure that you turn out to be some nerd who rarely leaves his/hers house

but I quess that every one has their own opinion

Poor left legs.

I have to agree with the plurality though, since I do way too much gaming and computer stuff to lose an arm, and I put more weight on my right leg. But damn, if I lost a leg I probably wouldn't have the heart to even stand anymore unless I had an awesome prosthetic.

I would give my right arm. Why? I don't know. I happen to like my legs (as well as walking, jogging and running) and I need my left arm for writing and such. It would suck to lose the mouse hand but eh, shit happens.

As countless people have said, prosthetic legs have become quite well made now, so I'd rather lose a leg. As for left or right, it doesn't matter as the brain will adjust either way (I chose to lose the right leg for fun).

I make intensive use of both my hands about 12 to 20 hours every day. Need those in top working order. I will rely on them until death.

If my legs were in excellent health, probably my right leg. Left leg is the "plant" leg for stability in carrying, kicking, etc. Right leg is the precision leg. If at all possible, I'd choose to to keep at least part of the leg, including the knee joint. That gives maximum benefit for prosthetics.

Tougher choice since, in real life, my left knee was pretty much destroyed when I was mugged a few years back. If I could afford proper surgery & rehab to get that knee back into decent working order, I'd keep the leg. But, if that were not an option, my right leg is generally in better overall health right now and I'd probably favor keeping it.

Grim poll. Reminds me of a movie I saw once where a pimp decided to punish one of his whores. He tells her he's going to cut one of her eyes out, and she has to choose which one, right now, or he'll take both.

oww, I can ''relate'' ...to the ''destroyed knee'' part, how did yous end up?
--I had surgery on it and proper rehab.
Right knee, broken bones, tore muscles, blood in the knee, pieces of cartilage floating in the blood inside the knee, all the tendons were strecthed and sum of them nearly ripped into pieses.

so, at the moment, my awnser to the poll would be right leg

but :/ when I was awnsering this, i had no idea I would dislocate my knee cap twice within 3 years.

I suppose my left leg.
Both hands are used about 20 hours a day, cannot lose either of them, and my right leg is just more precise than my left, though I do tend to put my weight more on my left than my right, but I would rather be more precise than endure longer periods of standing one legged

If we are allowed to get a prosthetic limb after the loss I would choose my left leg. If we cant get artificial replacements, I would go with my left arm.

EDIT- No fuck that. Left leg all the way. If I lost an arm I couldn't play video games.

I choose left arm, I suspect losing a leg would result in quite a lot of pain for a long time after. I'm also confident in the cybernetic industry's ability to create an awesome replacement in the not-too-distant future. In which case I can live out my lifelong dream of crushing a man's neck like a ripe orange.

Useful for the oncoming zombie apocalypse.
