Osaka Simulator Final
« on: February 25, 2010, 04:37:55 AM »
I used to have this small game based on Osaka from Azumanga Daioh.

Just a little non interactive game where you watch her mess around with random things in her room.

Sadly the file I have for it seems to have been corrupted after along period in storage, or simply isn't compatible with my OS (win7 now)

Anyone know where I can find a working (hopefully the translated version) copy of this?

Or even other similar style games based on familiar characters, something you can just let run in the background for idle entertainment.

You mean this one http://forum.nihonomaru.com/doujin-soft/125271-azumanga-osaka-simulator.html ? Works for me on win7. Not sure if it lacks translation or if it lacks info on settings in general but it didn't take long figuring out what everything was :P

So far this thing is worth a chuckle or two. It's pretty voyeuristic as there is minimal interaction to do.

Aye, it's more something to just let run in the background and check every so often for a quick laugh.

There are other similar games/programs like Lucky Star no Mori (there's like a bunch of them) and there was also Shuffle version (that also had dozen or so)
