Umineko no Naku Koro ni clarification needed (Spoilers present)

Hey peeps, I finish watching Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I still don't get whats going on.

First case:I thought the true reality is that Aunt Eva died along with the rest at the starting episodes? So why is there this alternate reality where Aunt Eva becomes the head of the Ushiromiya family? After all, if this didn't happen why would Ange become the head of the the Ushiromiya family? She did visit Battler in the Purgatorio and outside of the gameboard.....

Second case: Maria got extremely angry with her mother and killed her multiple times. This happened before the Rokkenjima Incident. In that case why was she present in the Incident? Wasn't she killed by Maria?

There's no evidence that the first arc would be a 'true reality'. It's probably Bernkastel (a voyager witch) who made it possible for Ange to participate in the metaworld with Battler vs. Beatrice.

I don't know where you figured out the timing of The Maria Rage incident, as far as I know it happened during the first twilight in the fourth arc. It could also be just a dream of Maria, considering that she wakes up right after that.
