Gaming monitor/ t.v

Osmo:
So I want a t.v/monitor for my 360, future pc and watching downloaded blu ray and HD movies. The follwing aswell.

32"
1080P resolution

What would you reccomend and why?

I've had a sony and an samsung LCD so far both are good, but the samsung was just better in sense of contrast and colours.

Plasmas seem the best but, have the lowest life span when it comes to gaming and are more expensive and are aimed towards 40" plua t.vs

LCDs are my way to go at the moment

LED's are just beautiful, I can honestly say I have been sold to the hype and marketing about this, very hard for me to take my eyes off samsung LEDS.

vuzedome:
32" for your desk is alright, but for your living room, you need a 46".

Mag-X:
How far away are you going to be sitting? 32" is too small to use as a PC monitor if you're going to be sitting back away from it. I use my 60" TV as a PC monitor, and I have trouble seeing normal text. It would be impossible on a 32" screen running at 1080p.

fohfoh:
In regards to the comment about plasmas... you REALLY have not done any research lately have you.

Most "problems" have been fixed in plasmas. It's just that LCDs have dropped significantly to be comparable at price point.

Samsung LCDs are great AFTER series 5. Pre series 5 are quite meh. Not bad, but are comparable to almost all other brands save for the stupid brands like Vizeo etc.

In all honesty, don't be dumb and buy a 1080p 60Hz if you want "future" HD. Look into the 120Hz ones.

NaRu:
I have a 32" 1080i TV in front of my bed for my TV/Monitor and a 46" 1080p TV for my second TV/Monitor (I use a 26" LCD and a 19" LCD for my desktop)

Also you are going find it hard to get a 1080p 32" TV. I know that Vizo makes them but most companies dont make 1080p TVs that small. I recommend you go for a 46"+
