I never went prone anyways. Who cares.
I picked this up day after release. I've been WAITING FOREVER for Bad Company on PC. BF2 - first real damn good modern (eg: not WW2) and "realistic" (as in: real weapons) shooter for the pc - was my favorite shooter ever.
Other titles - CoD for example ... they're OK but ... I don't know ... it's just something.
Vehicles - if you complain about vehicles - learn how to kill them. There's nothing to complain about. If you need to play on a "no vehicles server" - you don't know how to play.
( Sorry, but it's true. I hated vehicles at first too ... but every vehicle has a weak spot. Ever 1/2 shot a tank? Yeah.
They have weak spots. Learn em. )

What I do know so far - is I like this a HELL OF A LOT more than CoD MW2 - which imo - sucks a fat one. If you want to talk about unrealistic ... man, that game blows chunks. BC2 bounds better.
Also why do people mention BF 2142? It's a shameful chapter of DICE history that should only be reffered to as "you know what", "that game" "the thing we are not supposed to speak about"
Because I liked it? The vehicles were a bit meh, but gibraltar with no vehicles or similar maps were fun.
There was something wrong with 2142 - I can't quite put my finger on it. It may have been a bit too complex. I liked it - played it a lot - had everything unlocked ... but there was just something about it.
Vehicles were no prob for me - I'd just blow the shit out of them ... but the game got boring for some reason. It wasn't like BF2 - where you could just keep on going for a good while - and still love the game.
