Battlefield Bad Company 2
Viseroid:
The game play of Modern Warfare is far more frenetic and ADD than Bad Company 2 could even dream about :). The first time I played Modern Warfare I just couldn't figure out why I was doing so poorly. Then I realized that I was doing poorly because I was taking time to think :P. Once I had played enough and everything had sunk into muscle memory I was getting 20 person kill streaks with a shotgun on 54 player servers without calling in support.
When I played Battlefield 2 and 2142 I found that ambushing people was a much more viable strategy than in most other FPS games. Combat is a lot less personal. In a decent game no single player will stomp the opposing team like they can in Modern Warfare 2. The combat dynamics in Battlefield games are leaps and bounds deeper than they are in Modern Warfare 1/2.
wolkec, what is your definition of realistic? For me it doesn't matter if games are realistic or not, it is about whether the game is fun. Sure the game can be fun because of its realism, that was the big draw for Counterstrike, but it seems like your complaints lies on the player side of things and not gameplay mechanics. If you want a steadier game where morons don't shoot wildly (not that I'd complain, it makes they easier to kill) find yourself a clan and/or league to play in.

No, im talking about gameplay mehanics, where it alows people to bunny hop (Jumping around like crazy - most military dudes have packs with 50+kg with them lol), and about respawning. Yes, i liked battlefield 2 a lot, but the new one just sucks.

Well as I expected... Can't even browse multiplayer servers! Go EA! Singleplayer looks pretty, and I really like they physics/recoil. It's unfortunate they can't seem to have a decent release.
Enzedder:
I plan on picking up BFBC2 on PC mainly because whether it be Battlefield or Call of Duty they still have certain tactics behind it (whether it be ambushing or running in guns blazing). As long as I am able to make my friend on the other end scream for my blood after I headshot him I am happy. ^_^
