Charter customers getting free speed boosts

Enjoying my new 25/3 connection. Still hungering for more upload power, but oh well.

More power to BBT once I finish 1.5ing some of these other torrents.

My down/up speeds aren't bad, but rather inconsistent.  Sure, 80% of the time I get the 20 megabit I pay for, but 10% it's 1 megabit, and 10% it just doesn't work.  They keep offering us speed upgrades, and we just want it to work, dammit!

They are kind of hit and miss depending on your area. The lowest I've ever had was 15 down, but 80%+ of the time I'm getting at least 95% of my speed. I've never had my upload be less than advertised.

DOCSIS 3.0 is out there, channel bonding is getting ready to be used, we'll start seeing significantly higher upload speeds in the coming months with any luck.
