Question about anime_fin's Gunslinger Girl

Four and a half years ago, I downloaded anime_fin's Gunslinger Girl releases off Boxtorrents, and I've finally gotten around to watching them. Does anyone know which fansub group's subs a_fin used? I've heard some say that Triad's subs were used. However, some things about the a_fin subs suggest otherwise. I've never known Triad to use British spellings like "Organisation", or include random non-Japanese-related extra notes (in this case, about gun types). Or maybe a_fin mixed and matched a bit?

So I'm hoping that somebody who was around during the broadcast and the a_fin DVD release will know -- the actual TV-rips are just about impossible to get at this point, so I can't compare directly.

I have Triad's released burned on to a DVD somewhere.  But not Anime_fin's.  Is there a line you want me to compare?
