When I open bags/packets of thing it MUST be opened the right way up and if somebody doesn't open it the right way up I sit and cringe and I just want to take the packet off of them and open it the right way.

I know I don't have OCD so I have no idea why I'm like this.

It's just one of those quirks a lot of people have.

There's just that "one thing" that HAS to be done a certain way.

I'm not sure if this is a symptom for OCD but:

I remember one time when 2 of our 4 Wiimotes were out of battery. So I went to the store and bought 8 batteries, just in case the other two ran out as well. But when we changed the dead remotes' batteries I felt like I had to put the new batteries on the other two remotes as well. I kept telling them to do that, but of course no one would to wast a couple good batteries. That bugged the shit out of me for a while.

Also, when I was a kid I always made sure that when I go up or down the stairs I'd take the last step with my right leg. Eventually I've memorized how many steps in a stairway from places like my friends house, hospital, school, parks etc.

As i understand it. it has to be obsessive/compulsive (err, duh?). e.g. in roven's case, he would have to make it a scheduled ritual to buy and replace batteries. in RawrCakes, she] would have to open packets her way and keep them into containers just out of impulse. on mine, i probably have to take an hour of bath thrice a day washing in order for it count.

It goes without saying that i could be wrong. don't take my word for it.

it was a exaggerated example of my usual habit so it would count as OCD. I only take a bath once a day with a ritualistic order.
though i do take a bath at night occasionally when i can't sleep.

lol this used to happen to me too tbh. I use the plastic that can't break now though.
