Lord of Fire:
--- Quote from: Tiffanys on March 18, 2010, 09:54:23 PM ---Hmm, let's see... well, I talk to my cat like it's a normal human, even though I know there's no way he understands me.

I think they do understand to a certain degree. When I ask them if they want food, they often jump up and go to the kitchen. This may be a conditional reflex of some sort, but considering the fact that they don't do it all the time makes me wonder how much of the human language they truly understand.
They can certainly understand the tone of your voice. They know when I'm mad at them or when I praise them. Plus, they know their own names, as they sometimes come when I call then.
--- Quote ---For some reason I'll find a song I like and then listen to it non-stop for like a week, and then never again. Or at least not for a very long time.
--- End quote ---
Happens to me all the time. I seem to get quickly bored with my music collection.
Enzedder:
I discovered another one while driving today.
When not doing something physically active like when I am sitting at the computer or driving I have a tendency to rub the tops of my bottom teeth against my right thumbnail. Its kind of like I am thinking but not really. I used to bite my nails and I think this is just a natural way of coping without doing so any longer.
When I am bored I roll my left index finger over my chin and, depending on when I shaved last, play with the little hairs on my chin. When I first got chin hair I didn't shave it for ages. I wanted to see how long I could go before someone literally shaved it off my face and I ended up stroking it like an old guy (except it never got anywhere near that long). After awhile I decided to shave it off before my b'day get together. The habit of stroking that chin hair remains though so even if there is nothing there I still roll my finger over it like I am feeling for it.
kurandoinu:
When concentrating, I bite my hands. If I am concentrating quite a large amount my hands will be very red and very bitten, and it hurts after but while I'm doing it I don't even notice.
If I'm nervous, I will play with the ends of my hair, or with earrings or bracelets. Playing with earrings makes your ears sore, I do not recommend it.
I sit on my feet a lot. This means I suffer from pins and needles all the time. It makes me walk weird when I stand up. I also prefer to sit on a table with my feet on a chair than on a chair. Maybe thats just my way of rebelling against being short. Sitting in a window sill with my feet on a table is even better but tends to get me into trouble.
Enzedder:
Actually I am reasonably the same there. I hate normal chairs. So uncomfortable. I would much rather sit on the floor with my back against the chair or sit on the table or bed. Basically any large flat surface that I can spread out on if I want (though I only do half the time). ;D
Chairs are just so.... small... Recliners are nice but I still prefer the floor or a good old bed. :D

Symmetry;
Not as bad as Death the Kid, but sometimes I find myself placing things (ACCORDINGLY!). Mostly only when I am cleaning my room. I wish I could be more careless. :-\ It feels like an obsession at times.
