i just finished downloading REC the anime. I was gonna give it a look soon. I heard the manga goes well past the story here and thought id give it a look. I glanced at the comments for the torrent up here (anime) and several people recomend the manga. I went over to mangafox to look it up

a couple of things though:

 I glanced over at the manga and saw some coments over on the mangafox forum mentioning how people grew to hate Aya after a certain event (briefly spoiled myself by glancing at the thread i guess they dont use tags there, thankfully i didn't see what the 'event' was) Should i check the manga out after i watch this, or do the characters just do stuipd crap that makes you hate them? Maybe if i like it i should just stop there to keep it good in my mind

Also, is the manga pornographic? Im pretty sure the anime isn't but the manga has a mature tag on it

just wondering if anyone whos checked these out could chime in here

I just started reading rec today and and it's almost good as the anime. The story goes way pass the anime and it's still ongoing. I'm not sure what event are they referring to, but I'm at chapter 32 and I think I know what it is. Well I didn't hate Aka but that event irritated me a lot, it kinda broke the image I had of Aka but I still like her. And it does get's more mature contents especially after the part where the anime ended. You get to see Aka's boobs. loli for the winnnn

This thread need to be more active, I highly recommend people to read this one and watch the anime.

The female "lead" in Rec is written like a moron. The author lets her character allow something to happen to her that most guys would be pissed off if they found out it happened to there girlfriend. So if you dont mind these continue reading it. I was reading this for awhile but the author treats the female lead like she is brainless and I didnt care much for that.
