Assasins Creed 2 - don't buy it - if you bought it, return it
summertime:
Urgh, having your save games stored on their servers and then losing them... Unforgivable.
Big thanks for the info and feedback, I may have found out about it when it was too late. Thank God I didn't buy it.
What if it turned like this:

Who's nexon? I don't understand the comparison?
Steam IMO isn't that bad. I sort of like it. True, you might get fucked over in the long run, but it's not a bad attempt at DRM done right. It still can't beat a good old fashioned Blizz game where we would buy one disc, burn a few copies and then play a few together and have other buddies trundle around in the other servers until we ridiculed them enough to buy their own copy. I mean, there was a huge enough issue that Blizz actually listened with the no CD methods. (ie: ISO via daemon tools) that Blizz implemented their own "No CD" patch and method for Diablo 2 LOD.

Nexon Corp is the Gaming company that pioneered micro-transactions in online gaming, even though they have a pretty solid company and such, they have a super hard time figuring out what services will benefit the players, rather then frustrate. Such as lately if you disconnected from the login server your character had a 30% chance of losing your items equipped. and it takes them atleast a month to give you the things back in basic colors. 99.5% of the time they fail update's (3hr update/downtime turns into 18 hours) and customer support is almost non-exsistant >>
Basically lol its fail >>
Pzc:
There's a amusing three part series on youtube
made by peeps who aren't thrilled about this new
DRM. It's about Silent Hunter 5 though, not AC2.
Das DRM Part 1
Das DRM Part 2
Das DRM Part 3

Yea all this kinda stuff this/steam etc has really turned me off to PC gaming.
I crossed the line from consoles to pcs a good 7 or 8 years ago.Now i see
how fucked up the pc market as become im slowly switching back over to
playing consoles again.I picked up a 360 about 6 months ago.If its on Xbox
i wont buy the pc version. So basically MMOs and probably RTSs will be the only
thing i play pc wise.I really really dislike companies telling me how i have to play
a game that i bought.
