Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Afro Smurai, The Boondocks, Avatar, Naruto, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, Berserk, Claymore, Canaan, Death Note, GANTZ, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Michiko To Hatchin, Hikaru No Go, Hanaukyo Maids, Golden Boy, Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, FLCL, Memories, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Akira, Karas, Appleseed, Jin Roh, Sword of the Stranger - Mukou Hadan
Mostly it's Action and Comedy :) I'm not really into Romance or Dramas...

Nice list. I did actually start watching Gurren Lagann, but I was watching it on a 'streaming' video site, before I found BakaBT.
Once I found BakaBT, it sort of got lost among the 'noise' as it were and I never did get around to d/ling it and now I don't think it is on Baka anymore :(
Anyway, I think the main thing I like about Cowboy Bebop, is that each episode is a 'short story' that makes up part of the larger series wide story, Black Lagoon and Samurai Champloo both have that in common with CB, plus the fact and I admit I never realised it, that they don't have, to quote PithyGriff "harem, gratuitous fan service, gratuitous moe, whiny male lead, unbearably irrational characters, cheap or overwrought plot devices."

know what's surprisingly important to watch, Hell Girl.
I watched it and was impressed, but not as much as I was in the weeks following. I swear almost every anime I watched after that had Hell Girl references, and not just the obvious ones like Kampfer or lucky star either.
