I wonder about that, japanes are xenophobes, so you will most likely not be looked upon with content when walking in the streets.

Deucal:
bring some swedish cookies or chocolate in small sizes to hand out to the Japs. Preferably in a very nice wrapper.
Japs love their wrappings :) and gift giving is a big thing there.
