Not as funny as the first episode, but still good, Whitey and Sister were hilarious.

This is absolutely bonkers

I love it!  ;D

So many popular seiyuu's in it too: Jiraiya, Zaraki Kenpachi, Holland, ... add's to the surreal atmosphere lol

I wonder what they spent more on?
The VA's or the animation....

I listened to the OP for like 45 minutes yesterday, over and over again. It is indeed quite catchy. (And of course I love all the various previous SHAFT OPs... Euphoric Field, Staple Stable (All the Bakemonogatari OPs, really), the SZS (and sequels) OPs, etc., etc.)

This show is actually growing on me. Not only am I finding myself enjoying it as I watch it, I'm also looking forward to seeing it every week. It's all about style, but it still has substance... the animation keeps me on my toes, as always (so it never gets boring)... the characters are getting more and more interesting...
Yes, this really is a nice show.

I haven't seen any of the second season of K-On yet, but I think this is going to be the best anime of the season. Thats saying a lot given that Working is starting strong and Mayoi Neko Overrun has three highly moe characters.

Everything about the OP is really great. I like how the animation is a lot slower than SZS while still feeling really similar. This series is really picking up, and the characters have more depth to them than I previously thought. I'm really looking forward to what more antics can possibly happen under a bridge. (Haaaaa bi ba nono!)
Nobody's ever asked me but just in case you're wondering, my name is gibberish.

Watching this and loving it, the Chief is too awesome, especially in those live action scenes at the very end

Coming into this without any prior knowledge, it... is... nuts. The second episode nailed it for me, the right balance of dark humour, romantic subtext and WTF moments, not to mention a typical SHAFT opening (not a bad thing).

It seems like a deconstruction of the usual opinions people have about businesspeople and the homeless into a crazy screwed up community living under the bridge. (The Chief? Genius!)

PS SHAFT, find a different VA for the main male lead please, Hiroshi Kamiya is not bad, but having him in so many of your shows is getting a bit tiresome.

Even living under a bridge with a Venusian, and a Kappa, guys still have a hard time  talking to girls it seems.

Why oh why oh why did she take the dress off :( She looked so lovely in it...

This anime keeps on bringing insane characters lol. Loved the new additions, Stella the killer loli and Poison tongue Maria (with another great seiyuu! Ayane/Kanbaru/Iwasawa)

I absolutely have no idea where this is going, still enjoying it though. Though I find the main character the least interesting... it"s all about the support cast

I'm currently watching Mysterious Cities of Gold which are old VHS rips, so yes, if it's a good series I can watch it in "horrible video quality"
I don't have a HDTV (still on my 'ole CRT TV) and have a 21" CRT monitor so it is defo watchable

And I regularly re-watch episodes that I download to archive (so I'll be re-watching Formula's version)

It was only blurry for the intro (first 30 odd sec) and gag contest rest of the episode seemed fine to me.
