excellent episode indeed, everyone under the bridge has some sort of past the ywanted to escape from, l wonder what Nino's past is like.
She actually rarely smiles, and her eyes expression is sad, must have been something really bad.

Maybe people from Venus show happiness in other ways than smiling. :)

Yes a episode with more Maria.

maria is funny ;]
but that secratery guy, altough he understood completely, is a weird guy, altough, most of ppl Ric knows are weird, totally, Nino seems to be the most normal of all of them.

it was a pretty funny episode, l havent read the manga so l don't know whats going to happen next, but every time l see nino's eyes, even when shes happy it seems she holds a great dark past and is left more or less hollow, Ric might be a cure for her later on, but shes the person everyone looks after anywyas, even Maria doesn't tease her, and if she says she won't go they will stand up and fight l guess.

l'd like to know her past.

Dear BBT, fix yourself, l'm not reciving any notifications again

Edit:ep11

nice ep, next ep will have a nice ending, l wonder what will happen with Ric and his dad hahahahahaha, btw, we know so little bout his mother.

I didn't watch any anime for the last month of the previous season, and Arakawa Under the Bridge was the first show I decided to finish.
It was simply great.
In all aspects.
I don't think it'll be very popular though, it doesn't have very much fan pandering elements. I think it's aimed more at a casual viewer, rather than anime fan.
And, of course, it didn't exactly have a conclusion, but that's for the better - now we can wait for another season. I'm wondering if Arakawa isn't meant as a replacement for SZS in Shafts repertoire - only focusing less on social commentary and more about personal issues and human relationships.

Yea, also, one of the funniest shows I have watched in quite a while.

well i had almost forgotten about this series. Kinda funny since im the one that kicked off this thread, lol.

Anyway i notice its now done now that im back and im gonna get back to reading the manga where i left off and think i'll snag this now that its out

Question though: what version is the best bet? Looks like nuttbladders is up here, but their filesize is absurd (over 400megs???) The audio listing is very weird too. I dont get what the deal is. I hear they added some aditional audio tracks or something? Anyone know what the deal is with the audio thing/quality? Id rather just get KSN but i hear their tranlation is clunky as hell. Just how bad is it? Regardless Neither one is rated all that well though. I do hear KSN will be releasing a better edited 'batch' though i dont know when that will be.

As far as the series itself.. I flipped through this thread trying to avoid spoilers. Seems a lot of people enjoyed it. Outa curiosity how closesly does it follow the manga, because i find the manga pretty damn amusing =D

This has got to be the weirdest anime I've ever seen.

I love the star-faced guy though.

no one knwos whats up with the nuttbladder release? It mentions the audio has extra tracks

ah well, maybe i'll just wait for KSN to release their edited batch. Itll give me time to restart the manga again since its been a while since i read any of it

if you look at the ADB listing it has 3 languages listed. Jap, Eng, and ?? if you click on the episode listing a few have either ??'s on them or a whole bunch of Jap tags on them. I dont really get what the deal is with that. Seems pointless to me and could contribute to their oversized files (400+ megs on some eps)

they fixed most of their releases, and did pretty decent work on this show, but I'm not planning to archive this one yet, I have a feelng there is more coming.

well i was going to wait for KSN to do their re-edit but it looks like one of their main staffers left so who knows when that will be. I may just snag the nuttbladder ones soon if i cant wait. That filesize is still way too big IMO

Oh and that audio thing i mentioned seems to be true. Its even mentioned in the comment section of the torrent here
