MyAnimeList.net's and CSS styling
levictus:
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone could help me make my MyAnimeList.net List page look a little nicer and little more cyberpunk styled?
Here is my current design:
http://myanimelist.net/animelist/levictus
Some issues I've been thinking about:
-Should I increase the transparency a little more, because it's kind of hard to make out that the background picture is a scene from ghost in the shell?
-Should I use a different colour for main text?
-Is there anyway I can load a different font that would be more cyberpunkish?
Any other suggestion would be very welcome.
Thanks,
Levictus

as for fixing that page, i suggest using a lighter theme. even in this rather well-lit room, I could barely read that.

Best suggestion I can give you is to get rid of the background image. It's not doing the page any favours. Unless you really have good reason to, keep the table opaque as well.
DaggerLite:
If you want a background picture, get a generic one to repeat. Not a wallpaper. The purple text is almost completely unreadable on your current transparent gray, and I'm not even one to usually complain about slightly similar colours overlapping.
Also, why technology, and why not on MAL's forums?

Insightful, did you get your first pubes or something? :)
@DaggerLite
My bad, yeah I should have posted this on MAL forums.
Yeah I guess I'll try and fix anime list page. I know how annoying insane Myspace style layouts/colours can get. :D
