What was the first fansub you ever downloaded?

My apologies if this has been done before. I couldn't find anything after search.
The first fansubs I ever saw I never actually downloaded.
At, the time I really wanted to watch One Piece since I heard the original was much better than that crappy dub by 4Kids, but I was clueless as to how to use torrents.
So, my first taste of any fansub ever was watching the first two episodes on YouTube. The first fansubs I ever succesfully downloaded with the help of torrents was this: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=2736

Yes the first One Piece OVA which has almost nothing to do with the TV series (and even creates a mild plot hole if you try to tie it with the continuity of the show), but I'm just a completionist who likes watching stuff in order.

For some reason I also remember the second fansubs I ever downloaded. They were Nanashi's version of Eureka Seven. E7 was airing on Adult Swim at the time and I liked it enough that I really wanted to catch up to the show.

My first time i obtained a fansub myself was with higurashi but that was on youtube.
The first download was code geass.

I've been watching anime since mid-80's, but only watching it casually.  I didn't DL my first fansub until a few years ago when my sister started watching english DUBBED Bleach on YTV (canadian kid's station), of course I couldn't have that so I started DLing it and watching it with her, that was then I really got back into anime and started watching heavily.  Now I can't stop, won't stop

The first fansub I ever downloaded was either Video Girl Ai or Ah My Goddess. I downloaded them from Kazaa on dial-up. It took days. I found them burned to a CD-R a while back. Here is a screenshot of Video Girl Ai. I blew it up a bit so you can see what it looks like when you're actually watching it.

Now I can download whole 1080p serieses in a half hour.

Probably a few random 020s episodes of Bleach, but I think the first complete series I downloaded was To Heart. However, I'd been getting downloaded anime from friends via CD-R before that, such as Chrono Crusade, Fruits Basket, Azumanga Daioh, Fullmetal Alchemist '03, and Boys Be.

Friend of mine borrowed me some of his fansubs that were burned on DVD, so I watched them on DVD-player (hellsing and Claymore) but probably the first one was Hellsing (lol it was DVD-rip and dont even know whose.. :S) Tengen toppa gurrenn lagann. dont know whose but its avi version and probably various groups...

Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne by Anime Daisuki, direct download from a site I can't remember. I clearly recall how odd it seemed at first that every character had differently colored text for their lines.

The very first was probably Turn A Gundam. It each of the three episodes I downloaded were 30MB large. They were obtained via Kazaa. It was probably a year later when I downloaded Ani-Kraze's Scrapped Princess. I need to get a better copy.

Even though I've been an anime fan since high school (approx 7 years now), I didn't start downloading anime until I hit college (5 years ago). My first anime was Gundam Seed Destiny (forget the group), back when it first started being released.

l'm that old l don't even remember if it was Sailor Moon or Saint Seiya or captain Tsubasa l remember also watching some other football anime, it was intended for a bit more mature audience, like 15+ defo no sex just some romance included between the main guy and his old childhood friend, she had stack of boobs too. can't really rememebr, but that was like in 1994-5 l think.
