What was the first fansub you ever downloaded?

My first download was probably Ah My Goddess (the ova), using IRC, while on a dail-up connection... Usenet was usefull too, but it all took hours back then. :-\

Been a while since I even thought about that series. Magical girls 'wearing' flight gear on the legs and carrying massive weapons.
Thinking about makes me want to watch it again. Even the constant pantsu is ok, as it's not something that is focused on. :D

before that i mostly watched tv or animax but the choices were limited and after animax started airing FMAB thats when i really got into anime and learnt how 2 torrent and found bakabt!
and yes. i am quite young. 15 this year. saem as pyro-manic. i saw the karaoke subs for the opening n was thinking wow! totally did not expect that.

I remember downloading the original Fullmetal Alchemist years ago, probably back in 2006 or something off random torrents on Mininova. I'm pretty sure it was subbed but with dual audio so I watched it dubbed actually. In that case, first watched fansub was probably Eden of the East from last year, just had to grab it after my friend kept talking about how it's so awesome. By the end of it I thought it was just above average though xD
