Sentai Filmworks Announces Clannad English Dub

Sentai is one of the new companies that emerged from the collapse of ADV (at least from what I recall).

Well i watched the first episode of the Dubbed Clannad series and to my surprise, most of the voices where not great, probably stand to listen to Tomoya one of the less grating voices, Nagisa really did not like mean she does have same sort of cute voice but for me just feels so American teen (I Know going to get a lot of stick for saying) but, Just lacks what i loved about Nagisa makes her seem like a Air head. Sunohara sounds like a 10 year old kid. Ryou kinda not bad voice wise as she sounds older. They really Americanized the names too much as well for my taste. Its not for me watched the entire series dubbed it would lose lot of what i loved about that Vn and Anime, but that my personal choice. Im not just a Dub hater for people, who will just jump on the bandwagon, just prefer the native language as for me suits the Characters more and for me has more Emotion and conviction.
