I sleep on my back. Sometimes I will pivot to my side to try and keep the heat lower (generally in the summer time) but overall I sleep on my back. When I sleep on my side, the weight makes my arm/leg numb when I wake up. Facing down is awesome, but I can't breathe on my own bed (falling asleep in a chiropractor's/masseuse's chair/bed thingy is nice. If only there was a good possibility of a pillow of some sort instead of having to have (in my situation) my head hang off the bed onto something lower.

Initially on one of my sides but i tend to wake up about once an hour or so and roll over to my other side/back/stomach and fall back asleep. Rinse and repeat, and i wonder why im always tired, that or waking up at 5:30 is starting to finally get to me..lol

Curled up on my side holding one pillow to my chest and one between my legs. I really need to get myself one of those body pillows.

I fall asleep curled on my right-hand side. But when sleeping, I change my position multiple times and end up wherever possible.
Ring around the roses, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down.

I used to wear long clothing when I was young. Shed that probably in middle school for shorts and t-shirt, shed the t-shirt in high school and now I'm back to shorts and t-shirt. (due to laziness). Otherwise, I feel too hot to sleep.

How could I possibly approve that without some type of formal inspection?

Fine! *sigh* If you must come inspect my sleeping arrangements then I suppose I will have to let you. *sigh*

>_<

Usually when I go to sleep its in a t-shirt and shorts. I dunno. I rarely go to sleep in boxers and stuff but I will take off the shirt if its too hot.

In a coffin rack.

If you can get comfortable in one of these, you're either drunk or tiny. Me being 6'1", 215lb, I really only have one option. And no, despite what some people will claim, there is NO comfortable way to fit two people into that little metal box.

I also find I have to sleep on my stomach because it's the only easy way to slide out of the rack in the morning.

But when you think about it someone staying in the city is hardly going to sit in their fourth floor apartment the entire time. If you are in the city its usually to sight see or for business or partying. Either way you only really need a place to sleep as long as there is a good rest stop nearby.

Really cool and I wouldn't mind it every now and then but I have to say that I much prefer a giant room.

Nothing more comfortable than sleeping in boxers under a thick blanket with the A/C blowing cold air on the outside :P Too bad the rest of my family disagrees... For some reason I start sleeping on my right side, but I wake up in a random position with the blanket turned upside down or something =/ I still find myself waking up on the floor occasionally. Still love my comfy single bed though!

The only way I'd put up with that is if it cost like 20% of a normal place.... Maybe for a one-day business trip to Tokyo, meeting in the evening, returning home the next morning. However any extended period of time would be impossible.

Yeah but this is Tokyo. They are cheap and they are for those situations. The number of business men that use them for work etc are amazing.

I sleep on my side, arm under my pillows. Yeah, I sleep on top of multiple pillows. I wake up with neck pain on occasion, but is is just more comfortable for me.

As for clothing, when I am at college, I am sleeping in a room that is a bit too hot so generally in boxers and a t-shirt. When I am at my parents house, my mother sets the heat very low during the winter so I go to bed in long pajamas with wool socks and a t-shirt and boxers underneath. I shiver under my down comforter and cover (yeah, both). As the bed warms up and traps my body heat, I get warmer and start to strip. Invariably I end up sleeping naked with the clothing somewhere under the covers for me to find when I am making my bed.

All that is true assuming that I am sleeping alone. When my lady friend sleeps over, I sleep in boxers and t-shirt since the bed is already warm from cuddling. I find that I enjoy the most success by sleeping with my back against a wall, facing her. She hogs a twin sized bed, but looks damn cute doing it.

If I'm alone, I'll sleep in my pjs. If I have company I'll sleep in my bra and knickers, or naked. :)
