Politician in Anti-Anime Shocker
« on: March 29, 2010, 06:02:50 AM »
Nick Levasseur caught with proverbial foot-in-mouth.

Yeah, I thought about posting this in politics, but imo it isn't politically-oriented just because it involves a politician.

On the other hand, wtfux was this guy thinking?

Quote
from Nick Levasseur
"Anime is a prime example of why two nukes just wasn't enough."

Quote
apology from Nick Levasseur
"I would like to deeply apologize for the insensitivity of this post. It was a poorly thought out comment, posted in jest on my private Facebook page."

Too little, too late, Mr. Political Person.  You've enraged millions of otakus and the indigenous people from the country you slandered.  Prepare for an all-out invasion of mecha and overly-dramatic emotionally-superfluous reactions.

Too.Fucking.Funny.

We should get his address so all the lolicon hentai addicts worried about PROTECT can mail him their potentially illegal possessions.

Two nukes wasn't enough?
There were politicians who planned to convince others that a nuke on China would put things to an end, and it seems that they're still at it but with a different target.

Hmmm... looks like he and his supporters needs some sensitivity training.

I recommend a viewing of Grave of the Fireflies, then Barefoot Gen, then first hand exposure to the effects of a nuclear blast.

I think it was just some simple random-office-lady-gets-taken-advantage-of-by-manager type of show, and he's wondering why does his female staff not give the same treatment as well.

l lolled hard, nuke solves everything, but of all places, Japan has nothing anyone would be annoyed about. Nuke asstards koreans or China, for bloody lack of human rights respect ! but only if a nuke would only target the bad guys leaving the innocents out of it, too bad it's just a stupid mass murder weapon.

Now japan has someone to test their gundam mech on?
(click to show/hide)

On a serious note....that guy was just asking for it, seriously. Some things are better left unsaid. Did he think everybody would agree with him and a law banning anime would come out and he would go to bigger and better things and be praised? then we would nuke jp a third time? He needs a life SRSLY Folks. he has to focus on something more important
