its because i always loose a pen after i use it and i go to from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and then work the night shift at 7-11 so i need the entertainment for the long spans of time when there are no customers.

Carry most of the time:
The items above +
-Small flashlight
-Folding knife
-Pen
-Small notebook
-Keys

So kids, that's the reason why I always need clothes with lots of pockets

Oh of course, how could I forget. I usually keep my spring assisted Gerber Pocket knife on me most of the time. You never know when you'll need it, or when you'll need to use it.

keys (house, car, mailbox, other locks, store key)
wallet (with the usual stuff in it)
cell phone
folding knife
couple pens
a lighter
pair of gloves.
and whatever book im currently reading.

I don't bother with a watch b/c I seem to make them slow down, so I just use my phone.

Hm...

-wallet (contains driver's license, bank card, student ID, ID, insurance card for hospitals, member card of a shop, BahnCard (card from Deutsche Bahn, you get 50% off every trip if you have one), MensaCard (replaced money in our cafeteria, money of course, packstation card (a service from our mail company - you can fetch packets everytime you like at one of these) and band-aid)
-iPod touch with SH IE6
-mobile phone
-a pen

...is what I usually have with me

On trips I add:
-a book and/or a magazine
-bottle of water (1l)

For university I take along:
-glasses (I only need my glasses to read things from a certain distance)
-notepad (too slow with a keyboard)
-bottle of water (1l)
-a magazine (only when taking the tramway)

That's what I usually have in my pockets.

I have more stuff like my Laptop with me in my back pack when I go to school.

always (at least i try to) - keys, mobile wallet.
usually - umbrella (definitely if i'm carrying a bag), mp3 player if i'm using public transport.
Other things in bag
-red pen, paper, lunch, unused plastic bags and foil used to contain food which have accumulated there due to a lack of cleaning,
