PowerISO halp!

Hey I'm using PowerISO 4.6 right now and I'm trying to change the label of the DVD but it cuts off my label name after 16 chars. The label is a few chars longer and looks stupid if it's just cut off so I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the label length longer than 16 chars, or if someone knew an alternative to PowerISO for editing ISOs.

I was using Daemon before this for mounting but people said PowerISO is better and it can edit stuff so yeah.

I haven't used PowerISO for some time so I may be wrong but I remember that when you create an ISO you had to specify which filesystem to use out of three options, and I think two of them had support for only 16 character labels and one of them had support for 31 or 32.

Sounds like the person who made the ISO you're editing now picked one of the first two so it looks like you're stuck with the 16 character limit unless you change the ISO's filesystem which as far as I know is impossible, or at least I dunno of any program that does that You could always extract the files from the ISO and rebuild it with a different filesystem that supports more than 16 characters in the label and you're done.

I'd stick with cutting a few letters off lol but if it's worth the time, then I guess you could do that.

Change file system, and to me, PowerISO is crap, anything with the words "daemon" or "power" in the softwares name is pretty much rubbish.

Been using ImgBurn, allows 32 characters for ISO9960 and 64 in UDF

Depends on what your needs are. DVD Decrypter and Daemon are serving me nicely.

I'm giving ImgBurn a try now and I'll also see if I can change the filesystem as recommended by some of you. Thanks for all the advice!
