I would buy it for PC on two conditions

1) I need to play 3 up to the current ;D

2) UbiSHIT removes their stupid system

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Can't wait for the release on PC as long as they remove their crappy DRM, if its as bad as AC2 I won't get it.

No, they didn't learn. The latest Settlers game was released around Easter and people had problems with the server once again.

Like EA and spore.... the learning curve for VG and their parent companies seems to be lacking sometimes.  If they still encorp. the same DRM I want to see the vid on Zero Punctuation :)

I've got the Aussie 360 collectors edition pre-ordered, only 7 more days!

I think the Splinter Cell series in general is a very good series; intriguing plot, well thought out areas (if a bit linear), very good game controls (very critical in stealth games).

Double Agent was the only were I was sitting there going; uuhhh... Why?

But the three before were very good (all on Xbox/360)

I may be getting it more then likely for the online play rather then the storyline, always got annoyed by the super stealth shit, don't have that sort of patience at times. I guess that is why I have only ever beat one Splinter Cell game. Though I have the 360 collectors edtion pre-orded I just don't have the cash to get it at the time which is the bum side of it all. I will say it does look like it is going to have one of the best story lines for Splinter Cell yet though.

That's really, really not saying much at all considering even the first game's story was cringe worthy.

Welp, they cut out half of the stuff that I found fun in the earlier Splinter Cells so I'll wait and see what happens.

ive just played the demo and im very please.

there is no stealth meter but you can tell your invisible when the screen goes black'n'white

its fast paced, entertaining and seemingly realistic. it uses a very decent cover system much like gears, and the interigations have a lot of human input ( you can smash there head on the toilet, wall, sink so on.

For a fan of the series, this would have to be just about the most terrifying thing to hear.  Stop and pop needs to die.

I got it for the PC, and I have to say it was a worth while purchase, but some of the new mechanics, made the game too easy some of the time, and were hindrance at others, like where you can aim where your going to shoot while hiding at a corner, then jump around the corner and the shots are made for you. Overall it's a great game with good mechanics, and a pretty good camera, while there was 1 time where it wasn't looking 100% where I needed it, it didn't cause me to die, nor did I feel like I was fighting it the whole time. It doesn't capture the magic of the first game, but it comes close, and I am excited to see whats next in the franchise.

As a PC gamer, there's no way in hell I'll be buying anything Ubisoft until they remove their shitty DRM. Too bad, I really wanted this game.

DRM removal really isn't going to happen any time soon, but wait about 6 months and it will be on sale for about 30 dollars, pick it up and mount it to a virtual drive in daemon tools, that's what I did and it negates the DRM.

I had no glitches or problems of any kind on the PC version, as I said the only "problem" I actually had with the game was one instance where the camera wasn't exactly cooperative, but it wasn't exactly intrusive either. And from what i have read both the Xbox and PC version are fine, it's the PS3 version where people got shafted.

I'm finishing the game atm, but as i said, its bad.
The graphics + fighting is awsome, story isnt bad either, but everything else is! Camera is shit, controls are shit, physics are shit (For example; you cant shoot thru doors or when an enemy is hiding beneath a desk, even if u aim in the empty space it wont hit him!). The co-op sucks, you cant type nor have voice chat which ruins the basic idea of teamwork. This is just because the game was degisined for xbox/ps3 or some other shitty console and not for PC. It was ported realy badly.
