Major Issues with the laptop

A program that is supposed to help you either download faster, or "resume" a download in case you accidentally quit or something" before it's done.
If your HDD has corrupted sectors, generally it's very slow as well. (But not always)

you mean like j downloader and internet download manager? I don't think so if thats the case because ive installed uninstalled plenty of times

Doesn't look good ... a new harddisk should have no damaged blocks at all
I got a friends laptop at my home to check and he had the same problems, did a scan and 5,2% of his harddisk was damaged ... first bad block only came up at 30GB (it's a 60GB HD)

finished and it says 0.0% damaged and only 1 red block ?

Try defragging it. Sometimes that helps, though it might be something registry related. If so, try system restore. If all else fails, utilize the recovery partition to reformat it. Backup your files beforehand though. Also, last, but not least, run a scan using your Antivirus. Might be malware, spyware, etc. funking up your system.
