Neither have I. Oddly enough they fairly often knock on an acquaintance's door, even though he lives 2km outside of the city boundary...

I've had people walk up to me and hand me pamphlets and talk about their religion whenever I go out without headphones. Headphones are like repellent for these people.

That sounds a bit pricey... The cheap sort of earphones works just as well. You don't even need a music player, just put the phones in your ears and have the cable disappear into some pocket.
