Freedom of speech as a constitutionally guaranteed right
generally doesn't apply:
1) outside of the US and certain other countries
2) to private organizations or communities, e.g., forums
-to clarify (and as I understand it), the only "right" is the right not to have the government /officially/ tell you you can't say something for the sole reason of stopping you from saying it. Obviously there are plenty of unofficial ways, as well as ways around even that rule if you can find something else to pick on. E.g., endangering national security, slander/libel/other defamation, et cetera.
Complaining about a ban is generally also frowned upon by most forum TOS/rules, with admins and mods being the proverbial local deities, and all.
Racism and PC speech is a whole other can of worms—honestly not worth going into in this particular medium. For freedom of speech in general, rules are rules, and while mods (in general) can be fairly lenient with letting things slide a bit, obviously every human has their limits.
'cept maybe Chiyachan. Chiyachan's just crazy, and can't be generalized.
