That guard or in episode 2 the orphanage lady. These characters (or the way they are drawn) are needed for such a show. They openly show who the viewer has to hate.

If I understood correctly he commited suicide, as Bro told that "next day his father was found in the near river...". It might be that hes sitting with other reason... Just for that reason for being prisoned is really stupid...
anyway.. this is really touching.. really good story of friendship. But I have feeling that SOMEONE WILL EVENTUALLY turn up to become a traitor..

Well, the reason has been relativized with this revelation in this episode. This episode made me think what the real reason is. What I disliked about this episode was the first half about the obligatory friendship behind bars. But well, they probably had to bring that once.
