Sorry, but according to the AniDB link no group HAS ripped it from dvd, the only rip mentioned there with english subs is a vhs-rip :-\...

Also, Otaking Studios was a tape-distributing fansub (of the old guard), so the encodes for it mentioned on AniDB are probably unofficial encodes of those vhs-fansubs, meaning even if you managed to find those (I haven't), eyecancer might become an issue :P.

Sorry, I read the AniDB info wrong. Expanding 'no group' nor 'full' episodes doesn't reveal, but if you click the 'half' episodes (tagged O1 etc) there IS a dvd-rip, by Ra-Calium (with english subs). Though haven't been able to find any leads for yet, even on his blog; as it's Turkish, perhaps someone who knows that language can help track the release down?

there IS another rip currently on nyaa, which consists of wmv-files batched with external subs, that most likely has LD-source. But as of this writing, the torrent seems deader than a doornail...

This is most likely the Ra-Calium release, though I haven't compared the specs.
Most of the "old anime" Ra-Calium releases are LD/DVD rips with the external subs muxed into a MKV container.
Oh, and they usually re-encode the audio to AC3.

Ra-Calium is friend of Inactive who just reencoding audio & muxing raws with subs.
And he doesn't care about quality.)) He always marks them as DVD.
