Help please...Musashi Anime

A few weeks ago I came across an anime that is supposedly based on Musashi's life although the name of the character was something different.  I've been trying to find it since but can't seem to find it.  If anybody knows could ya help me out here and I'm also open to hear any opinions or suggestions about it as well.  'Preciate it.

I am anticipating it as well, and yeah, it looks awesome. According to CDJapan it's been out for a while, but it seems there's no immediate interest in subbing it. DVD release |  Blu-Ray.

Yeah I'm aware of Oshii's movie.  Can't wait to see it.  What I'm looking for is a series and the name of the protagonists isn't actually Musashi.  It's only based on Musashi.  But thanks anyway.
