I'm requesting "To Love-Ru" from Exiled-Destiny. Does anyone have it?

Thank you for your help.

This could probably replace the Polished/Chihiro DVD release.

I'm guessing Fafner00 will have the files... ;)

Comparison with the Polished version please? I'd rather not replace something based on reputation alone :P

Well, it is my understanding that Chihiro's subs are less than stellar for To Love Ru. In fact, Kristen wanted to go back and fix them until it got licensed. So...

I'm ALWAYS nice. Well... except when I'm ebil. But I'm only ebil when I'm bored. Although... I'm bored all the time. Not that that's a problem is it? ;)

I said "probably", I was assuming some video comparisons would be done first... ;-)

Subtitles don't matter that much in this case, imo, since we already have Chihiro subs for the H264 and XviD torrents.

Lol, macros74, yes i have E-D files (and some simple background description (have a lot time and nothing to do :D)), but about comparison  :-\ It's hard in some way,
polished-used-raws are R2, but made really shitty, they have many jpeg artefacts, but more detailed, E-D have less artefacts, but worse detailed in some scenes (for me E-D's just more watch-able, since i still waiting Yabai (lol i think it's forever)).
Also E-D'version have R1 official subs, i have no idea what here can be compared  ???
And replace? I think it's nothing to replace here  ??? chihiro-polished = fansub, E-D = R1'rip, but i don't know since Clannad by coalgirs was rejected.

Well, I was initially thinking of "Dual-audio release always replaces single-audio release of comparable quality."
But seeing your reasoning I guess they would co-exist, counting the Polished release as a fansub, and since they have a different video source.

Though we already have one Group B fansub release; not that exceptions aren't made all the time of course, as long as the releases in question have something extra to offer.

And I meant comparison screens with regard to the video quality, subs is another matter.

I believe E-D's are single audio actually

The way I've always interpreted that rule is that "Dual-audio releases replace single audio of comparable video and subtitle quality." So if E-D does a dual-audio v2 of Clannad now that it's getting dubbed, that release would replace the current sub-only rip. Whereas fansubs or KAA-type DVD-rips releases that modify R1 subs can stay.

If a release is to be removed to reduce clutter, how about the HDTV/h264 release? I don't know if it's True HD or just a passable upscale, but I'd bet that many replaced it with the DVD release to get uncensored video. Imo the XviD/DTV version can stay, at least under the current rules.

Got any old fansubs on HDD/DVD/CD? Please take a look at this thread.

And the reason I dropped them when I heard it got licensed was because I knew that there'd be a much better subbed version in the future to replace ours, namely something like this.

Fafner00, are you willing to offer this? Of course, if you got time to spare.

Or maybe there's someone out there who can offer this. Any help would be gladly appreciated  :)

Maybe we can throw Yabai into the comparison too? I've been following Yabai myself, but their release speed is pretty yabai, if you get what I mean ;)

edit:
Ew at E-D's styling. Was that done in VLC by any chance?

Oh, sorry, forgot to mention: .srt subs in VLC. Also has VobSubs.

I have all the Yabai releases, will see...

Edit:

Polished 1  |  E-D 1  |  Yabai 1
Polished 2  |  E-D 2  |  Yabai 2
Polished 3  |  E-D 3  |  Yabai 3
Polished 4  |  E-D 4  |  Yabai 4

Thx for the Screenshots macross74.

Personally, I like E-D picture quality more compared to the others.

In Yabai's version, there are some weird vertical lines (screenshot 2) and the polished version looks somewhat grainy.

In terms of translation, I would say they're nearly similar.
