How much do you really care about it, personally i don't give a rats ass if a group does it or not because i watch and intro once then skip it from then on... However i have been reading on several other forums with regards to the quality of the groups subs and i see many many people take major points off because they dislike the karaoke.

it depends on the anime, l like K-On! karaokes and some otehr shows but l need a proper show to enjoy it, not all shows are good for me.

Path:
No karaoke: Bliss
Simple, softsubbed karaoke: Acceptable
Hardsubbed karaoke: Stupid
Hardsubbed karaoke with major effects: Really stupid
Softsubbed karaoke with major effects: DIAF

Of course, I don't care much for karaoke.

This, at least, has some merit. Compared to some I've come across—WTF they didn't release an upscaled version of this horrible SD show?! THEY SUCK—it even seems sane.

l think out of all karaoke recently, the one Chihiro di for K-On! first season was really nice, if it doesn't take up space of eye focus l don't have anything against it, l know in some anime fansubbers place karaoke at the top or in the right/left top corner while the other subs are ongoing normally, wich l find very good, it doesn't distract you from the main subs, if you don't want to follow the karaoke so you can continue enjoying the show, ofcurse eye candy OP/ED karaoke is by all means acceptable as long as it's just a one liner, and it's really nice when they highlight the current workds.
