Warcraft Cataclysm
Mirgond:
Tell your healers that they should heal themselfs sometimes too ;)
Havoc10K:
doesn't help when they get one shotted by bosses :P
if healer dies it's only tanks fault for not holding aggro, I done most of the raids in pugs, but we never done a single boss in a guild group, they think they know tacs and it should work, but there is no co-op in the guild, our HC runs are a disaster, I can even heal in a pug hc, never healing in guild runs, waste of mana.

When this happens, both are generally at fault. Though, the most common cause for failure are DDs not controlling their outpout, stealing aggro from the tank and forcing their healers to heal a lot more they should, therefore drawing aggro on themselves.
Havoc10K:
no, it usually starts soon after aggro, before we even start DPS and healing, soon after we start the damage isn't as much threat as tank should constantly keep it up, problem is, we have a druid tank and Warior Tank, the first should be able to hold aggro, but wariors without correct rotation don't have much potential for tanking atm, blizzard should do something about it, and they plan, but nothing so far, generally, right about the moment we are starting to make damage progres the tanks usually start losing agro cuz they don't really give much thought to it, our raid leaders look at your DPS more closely than they should, losing focus on the matters at hand, they always blame DPS for wipes, even since it's evidence that they lose aggro, pushing wips and healer loss at DPS is always stupid for me, if you can't keep aggro on yourself don't be a tank, I noticed that the warior tank doesn't have the glove enchant that increases aggro by 2% but pointing him that out is like making him cry again.
Fool010:
You sound like someone who's never been a tank, do you ?
You should give it a try before pushing all the blame on the supposed inability of your tank to hold aggro. It's not as easy as you believe it to be.
Not to say some people tank while not having what it takes to, but claiming 'the tank is always at fault' is plain bullshit. What takes parties down is the inability to adapt to sudden changes in the flow of combat.
Now, I'm not gonna argue further about WoW, I didn't like the game and left it as soon as I found some viable substitute.
