spending a few minutes on explaining tacs isn't much of work, I did it on a pug with some people before DBM was even updated to the release, the Cata release was quite different from the PTR versions, so we went "lets go in and see how it works" and we lost NO ONE, the key point in pugs is that you HAVE TO talk to your party, see if they are actually knowing the instance, if you are a tank, you should pay attention to trash DPS, if there is even a sliver of fail, you gotta do something fast, my shaman dps doesn't get 20k dps on single target, but it's not like elemental shaman dpsing is that easy either, it's all haste and timing, if you have a bad rotation you might get kicked yourself, but yeah, if people don't know simple knowledge that you should avoid shield fire, elemental explode, adds must die faster than they form,
the first boss minion is piss easy, his hp is relatively low, you can sacrifice the dps and have all ranged dps just nuke him, that is how we always do it, the biggest annoyance is the exploding minion on third boss, a fail there is painful.
i think grim Batol is one of the 3 heroics where you simply must do perfect before doing a raid, at least once do a perfect stroll, and it should be a pug, menage that, and you shouldn't have much problems with most raids, as Grim Batol, Deadmines and Stonecore (all bosses) usually can't be scored perfect, there is always one fail somewhere on the road, but those three can be cleared with a perfect score, and it is so satisfying to do so.
