APNGs are quite rare, although they look way better than GIF =/

maybe change the "GIF" into "animated images".

With all of the frames (screenshots you will use for frames in the animation) in a folder and a simple command line program (apngasm), making APNGs is really quite simple.

Probably due the lack of full support from all browsers. I know Firefox supports them, Chrome used to need a plugin (may have been changed since then), and I think Opera may support it. I can almost guarantee that IE and Safari don't.

IE indeed doesn't work, not even the one shipped with Win8 (IE 10 IIRC). Good thing I only use it for debugging purposes...^^

As I suspected, you need the plug-in to view them.
