Join the horde of course. Easier to get HLStats points as a zombie instead of a human.

Ok maybe I exaggerated with the "thousands of zombies". But example like a few (2-4) zombies spawns to your room, would you be able to survive?
Well 2-4 no problem,10 +, I'd run out of pre loaded ammo, and would have to make it the 15'ish feet to the closet, where I have more shells, and a machety, and more loaded guns. But as long as the numbers are below 100, I'd be okay, I make it a policy to never be more than 5 steps roughly 15 feet (yeah i take big steps 6'6) from something I could kill someone with.

WTF? Do you work for a drug cartel or something?

:-\ no, I've just had my house robbed or broken into 6 times since I've lived here, and the 2 times while I was home, the problem was solved without more than a broken window, and I'd like to continue that trend, also I collect guns.

I was wondering - are these zombies contagion? I mean, if they bite me I will become zombie?

Well see at the point where they spawn in your room you probably don't know. Hence the reason I am jumping out the window instead because until I know I ain't getting scratched by one.

If you have seen Resident evil, there is your answer. How else would zombies get you infected and turned into a zombie?

Resident Evil kind of Zombies?
I have a my old bicycle bar right next to me. It's a straight 60cm bar made from high quality aluminium with reinforced inner so I'd just let it swing. This is a pretty big room so there's enough space. Then I'd take my knives from the closet. There's a typical Finnish knife(over all knife, 15cm blade), my scuba diving knife(dull tip but it's prime stainless steel and sharp as a chirurgeon's, 10cm blade) and my army ranger knife(heavy duty knife, 25cm blade) and head to the weapon cabinet. There I'd load the pump-action and grab few boxes of ammo. Then I'd probably go to out neighbours and ally with them. We'd take the truck my neighbour drives and drive to one of the three army weapon hideouts in our town(yes, there really are three I've found). We'd find a way to break in. We might have to take some explosives from all the roadworks and detonations going around town to get in. From there we'd arm ourselves, RK 62s(assault rifles, basically AK47 with modifications) and a few KVKKs(light machine guns, not the most reliable or powerful but 1100rpm), maybe with SuomiKPs(machine pistol, good but heavy) but they use 9mm parabellum so probably not. If there were grenades there that would still work we'd take those. Then we'd go raid a store. Then we'd go to my parents boat and choose some island cabin with electricity as our hide out and just wait for it to end.

I wouldn't try to beat them with bare hands. I've done Karate for ten years but I wouldn't want to get infected. Too bad my baseball bat broke a few years back and I haven't got a new one. Would have been my first choice.

Definitely not use Rentazilla. Never let something that's hard to kill become a zombie.

Survival sheet coming later.

IMO short blades are just as dangerous to use as unarmed combat vs zombies. If the blade isn't more than 2 feet away from me per swing, I'm not risking.

I'm kind of depressed. My computer is the best weapon I have in the room...

I'm not strong enough to swing a full tower, so either the screen or keyboard. After that one hit I'm screwed. :/ Though I do have the side of the case off due to heat issues so that might work...

well not all zombies does that :P my have seen loads of zombie movies (harpy loves horror movies) and some of zombies aren't contagion, just actual dead rising from the dead to do bad stuff...well in some of movies there are even good zombies and zombies that have a little brainpower beside eating living humans :D So I was just wondering what kind of zombies these are to make necessary preparations :D

Also, if you would be at home in your room (on computer) and suddenly "thousands" of some zombies (say 2-4) zombies would spawn into your room,

Nothing spawns in my room, excepted dust and a lot of mess. Zombies would have to ring, or at least knock at the door to get in.  ;D
There's no one in the world I'm interested in surpassing, excepted for myself.

hoho, resident evil rules concerning zombie viral infection? All main characters (Meaning chars you directly play) are completely immue to the virus regardless if they are bitten, stabbed, clawed, impailed. Everyone other then a main char is fucked =P

I suppose all we could do in such an outbreak is pray were a main character? :P

In move there actually was survivors and such

Depends on if I'm at the ship or home on leave. If it happens while I'm on the ship, then that's easy - secure the brow and the armory, lock it down, wait 12 hours till everyone who's going to turn turns, then start clearing it one space at a time. Presto, instant floating sanctuary, made even better by the fact that Gaeta is a peninsula city - less than half a mile wide at the thinnest part of the attachment to the mainland, so all it would take is a couple hours, some extra hands, and a quick lesson in hot-wiring to effectively seal off a couple square miles of land from all outside waves of deadies.

At home on leave, well, I actually think I have more weapons and ammo than we have on the ship. Grab that, pack the Avalanche & trailer with gear and my dogs, then head to Susanville max security prison. It's one of the old jobs with actual concrete walls (not just fences) and gets snow for 4 months of the year - plenty of time to do any and all planting or renovations while the zeds are frozen.
