the good old all steel pen and pencil set is handy also....but if all you have is a magazine roll it tightly on a slight angel and you get a fairly good striking weapon....

yeah a crutch would be good and most places they won't try to take them away.....a good old fashion walking stick is also good ...i have a black thorn stick that is as good as a base ball bat ...almost..

A Sword - We got a bunch of them lying around the house.

The Shelf - Heavy but if you are on higher ground it is an instant K.O.

Steel Chair - Made out of STEEL.

Brass knuckles - People are forgetting how effective this is, and it makes a nice pendant.

Fire Crackers - Throw a bunch of them into a steel barrel at a public mall, then behold the chaotic stampede.

The Door - Ram it into their face fast enough or use it to jam their arm. If it is a sliding door made out of glass, you've won.

Chandelier - If you manage to grab a hold of one thats a lot of ammo.

Glass Cup - Bonus points if it's a heavy beer cup.

Water Gun - Go to your science class and fill it up with Liquid Nitrogen.

Snacks - After you've finished eating some snacks, there are a "Do Not Eat" packets inside, take them and mix into a Water Gun or Water Balloon.

Butterscotch - It smells so profusely horrible, everyone in a 10 meter radius of it will spontaneously vomit. Perfect for when you run out of tear gas.

A bike. if you can do a tail whip while on the ground then you can do some damage or if the bike is light enough for you to pick up but still has some weight to it you can throw the bike at someone.

You could blow printer toner into a person's face and then heat it using a can of spray/deodorant + lighter. It'd be like the 21st century equivalent of dispersing ink to run from predators.
