On to new prob: SEEing avatar(s) *sigh*

<< < (2/3) > >>

Astara:
Have done that and run it in safe-mode with all extensions disabled -- same thing.  Must be something in my settings so next thing to do is to create a new profile or new user -- a bit more work than I want to get into right now.  I'm having some disk instability issues that are weighing a bit on my mind right now, so I don't want to get too overloaded, so it'll go on the queue... :-)

blubart:
if avatars where disabled in the settings the user wouldn't be able to see the placeholder avatars.

What 'it' do you need to setup to view other people's avatars and under what conditions does the generic avatar display (for those who haven't assigned one yet) while a blank space shows up for those who have?

That you read the other thread is clear, and thus you know that blubart finished the setup of my avatar's uploading.

What else, are you saying needs to be done, in order to enable displaying of avatars in Firefox when they display properly in IE?

Sorry if I don't want to run around reading useful information scattered all over the place.

Check options -> content -> load images automatically -> exceptions.
