wow so im currently on vacation in japan.so far its been an incredable expirience.
the people are so friendly and the country is really clean.i speak almost zero japanese and havent really had
much of an issue getting around.any if you have a coolplace to see post it up ill try to check a coupletimes over the next few days
imhere for about. 10 more days staying in shinagawa at a hotel.if this post is a little messed up sorry on a japanese keyboard!

I lived close to that area a month or so back (Minato-ku) and rent was absolutely horrendous. My roommate and I were paying about $1800US per month for a 1DK apartment (one room with a mini-kitchen and a bathroom attached).

I pay about $2k a month for my 3 story house in Yokosuka (40min by express train from Shinagawa).

Yeah, Shinagawa is retardedly expensive

I also just came back from three weeks in Japan and THOROUGHLY enjoyed every day I spent there! I got there just at the end of Cherry Blossom viewing time too (i.e. "Hanami").

Also another vote for pics if you are able....

Hmm ... come to think of it I have a fair number of pics from my trip (roughly April 7-28, 2010) ... would other folks be interested to look at them? Mostly of older buildings and flowering trees and such....

if every level only has 40-50m² it's really not that much. it's not uncommon in japans cities to build high on rather limited ground.

if every level only has 40-50m² it's really not that much. it's not uncommon in japans cities to build high on rather limited ground.

Yeah, it's only about 1100 sq. ft. total.
