U/D ratio not updating?

Uploaded almost a full gig, stopped, restarted internet browser, logout/login, restarted torrenting client. not updating at all, what's going on  

How am I supposed to get my upload ratio back up if your tracker can't even tell how much I uploaded

The person I was uploading to even finished, saw it go up to 100% and poof, he go bye bye lol. now the torrent's pretty much clean of any leechers so I can't upload anymore (even if I could I don't see much of a point if it doesn't add it to my ratio....)

soooo, any clue to why it isn't adding? I've uploaded to this particular torrent in the past and it counted, why not now?

Grabbing another torrent and DDling it from the release site to see if it's just the torrent or if it's the tracker x.x

Decided to grab some sleep before posting this to give it some time so It's been well over 12 hours

lol, I also like that no matter how many leechers there seems to be on the torrent, even after I direct download it and do a force re-check to get it confirmed it won't let me seed it? yet I can load the BT public tracker into it and I can upload then......... then If I remove the public tracker and leave the one connected to my account in there (im guessing it's the only tracker that's there when you d-load the torrent while logged in) it immediately stops uploading.


Any ideas?

Prince of Tennis is the one that isn't updating btw.

and as of the last 10 or so hours, won't upload either, neither will any other torrents I try

My stats are not updating. What can I do?

Check that the torrent pass in your client's tracker announce URL matches the one shown on your settings page. If it doesn't (or if it does, but you're still having problems), then: Remove the torrent entries from your torrent client. Re-download the .torrent files and open them in your client. Force a hash recheck and resume activity.

If that doesn't help, go to your settings page and regenerate your torrent pass. Wait about 10-20 minutes to be sure the tracker has recorded your key change, then repeat the above step.

You could try this? If you do change your key you will need to redownload all the .torrents for your stuff so far though.

Stats are usually updated at a certain time of the day. I forget when exactly.

your stats are properly counted. the reason that makes you believe otherwise is a known display bug on the stats page.
take a look at your seeded tab:
Prince of Tennis 1-178 + Specials - Size: 29.92 GB - Up: 32 KB - Down: 0 KB
and now take a look at your leeched tab:
Prince of Tennis 1-178 + Specials - Size: 29.92 GB - Up: 1.94 GB - Down: 29.92 GB

those are both the same torrent, the entry is just split in two due to the mentioned bug. one of the numbers should have increased.
stats update roughly every 45mins.

Just ignore all this, I've decided to just spend the 5 extra minutes it takes to find the torrents on other sites, now it isn't even letting me connect to leechers, it's showing 0(0) on seeders and leechers. It's also sidebyside with another torrent that I'm seeding perfectly fine from a seperate site.

It's also ignored the 20 or so gigs I've uploaded the past 2 or 3 months that I let slide since I shouldve been paying attention. I'll just leave it alone for a couple months and come back to it. Too frustrated with it right now  :'(

Yeah, this is the reason I said It's not updating, It's missing a full gig.

Leeching I uploaded the 1.94 gigs, that was added correctly, but then I kept seeding for another Gig but that one isn't being counted, unless 32 KB = 1 GB

I'm also seeding

for both of them, at least 500 megs each and those aren't even showing up x.x

Also with the stats they are

Uploaded   3.62 GB - (0.30 KB/s)
Downloaded   46.84 GB - (3.83 KB/s)

The Uploaded should be at about 5.5 GB but that one isn't updating either lol. (It's been a full 28 hours since I've noticed this, still no change.)

Already did that, I also put up new torrents afterwards to seed, they aren't even showing up.

Also, could someone tell me which torrenting software they use, I'm on utorrent 2.0.1, wanna try another software to see if that may be the problem.
I also checked my torrent key for all 3 torrents and they match perfectly x.x

I also know it's not a public torrent since that was in the faqs as well, you have to be logged in to do advanced browsing, plus my torrent key wouldn't be in the torrent trackers if they were public


Guess I'll have to try part 2 and change my torrent key x.x

anyways, went ahead and revamped key, redownloaded/forcechecked torrent, it's starting back up now, giving it a couple of hours, hopefully the other two at least SHOW UP in my torrent list lol back in a bit

I would pay more attention to the global stats than individual torrent stats.

Write down your global stats (those are the red and green numbers that show up on every page on the BBT tracker site while you are logged in; i.e. not the blog or forum sites) and see whether they update according to the amount you down/up. Of course, you probably have to seed/leech at least 0.1GB to see any difference.

Side note, the Bottle Fairy anime is really cute, but lacks everything else, like plot, character development, etc. Watch it if you're a sucker for cute (or humor, I guess), but if you're not, don't bother =P

Mine is also broken. I downloaded the entire season 6 of Naruto Shippuuden and it says I've downloaded nothing.

That's 8.91GB missing on my first torrent I've downloaded.
Currently at 0.195 UL ratio on it though

:EDIT: Never mind this post, edited the tracker list myself in uTorrent and now it shows me as seeding the torrent. Curse this stupid 7 day waiting period. =/
