hello all,

  well.... um... I'm new here so i don't know where to post this thread i made and to be honest I'm concern on my acct and when i check my profile i got Warned in the RED color and i know that is not good at all. And I'm bit confused on how to seed, upload or whatever is that called... actually my friend show me this site and she say i can watch different anime i want. So I try and have register but on my days here i downloading different anime and so i got the red warned. I want to do on how can i keep my acct in good condition or lets say in good standing although I have no idea what to do.

  So if anyone know ... please tell me and this is my first time got warned in forum and I'm little panic now. It will be appreciated if you do know what should I do.  Thanks in advance

If your friend told you about this site then I assume that she uses it or has used it in the past. She should be able to instruct you on all the information you need as explaining the torrenting process is difficult over posts.

I suggest you read though For First Timers in the wiki. That will give you a run down on how to do most things you will want to as a beginner. I would recommend you grab a coffee or something and also read through the Site Rules as that will help you in your usage of the site and the FAQs.

ok as i read those ... i need to upload what i get, right? so how can i do that?

cuz after i see my downloading is finished i remove it on torrent client. and i try to upload it tho i lost after im pressing different link on the client.... tho i try to download it but i see its not working but the anime i download is still in my folder and i want that to upload. someone know how to upload the file from torrent client, please?

um.... not im having issue again about on seeding ...

i follow how to upload in bittorrent client and it work, but after a few hours like 2-3hrs i check if its in gud on uploading and i was little confused if that is right or not. Im seeding back the Kannasuki No Miko and other but it say that ZERO even on uploading and my Ratio is not moving even 0.01% T___T  also all of my torrent say INACTIVE.

is this natural that has 0 up kb/s and 0.000 ratio ?

i restart my comp, my internet, my client torrent and other too also i other thread that has same problem but still no UPloading  going on.


What should i do?

In order to seed, you need to have someone who's downloading it.

Don't double post either. Read the rules before you post. You're lucky everyone seems to be in a good mood today - normally someone asking questions like yours are not treated as nicely.

Everything is explained in the Wiki. If you followed the explicit directions (for a whitelisted client, I hope), you likely have one of the following problems:

1. No one to seed to, as mentioned already. Look at the numbers in the Seeds column and the numbers in the Peers/Leechers column (different clients use different names). With a large number of seeds relative to leechers, you are likely not going to upload much at all.

2. Your torrent is not started.

3. Your client is limiting connections to too small a number. Try increasing the limit.

4. Your bandwidth is being limited or being used up by other torrents.

Use Google or search the Wiki if you need more help. Only post here if you absolutely can't find an answer anywhere in the Wiki, FAQ, or forums. And yes you can search the forums.

well... umm... to be honest i am very and much thankful to you guys who helped me with this but i did not mean to double post and i was really worried....

if i double post on purposed that might be annoying to everyone and it was not my intention to make that.....  :'(

guess.... asking here for little help to a new comer like me is.... bad i guess and to the senior here that like yours have a little patience as i see.

but really I am very grateful and honestly I appreciated that the others helped me thru my being noob... i might not going to ask again here in the future cuz i don't know if i'm making a double post that is not my intention to do so.


for my mistake I am really apologizing for what i did that i was very worried i made a double post and being careless in here.

Every time you download something, just leave the torrent in your client. You can still watch it and it doesn't hurt you to leave it there. It'll seed back whenever someone goes to download it. If you have some popular torrents, usually you can always have your upload speed capped out.

I had no clue how to seed when I started here either. read the Wiki and the for beginners parts, also the how to seed section that matches up with your client (even though I think it would be easier to know exactly what to do with some pics for each step, then again i've never been good at following instructions.)

I got a ton of help from other members even when the staff, try as they might, couldn't get through to me.

Everyone starts off as a noob. Just don't do it again. Relax, no one's gonna kill you.

Also make sure you don't have your upload set to a low number on your torrent client that you're using. I made that mistake from having it set like that previously, and got screwed in the process. Now currently trying to make up for my poor ratio.

Don't set your upload limit too high. If you set it to unlimited, you'll have trouble getting any traffic through, including your download bandwidth. Generally, a good rule of thumb is to set your limit to 80% (or lower) of your quoted limit (from your ISP). If you don't know what that is, run a speed test with nothing open that's using the Internet.

Of course, if your computer is idling away and not downloading, might as well seed at max.
